  • The recruitment covers a wide range of sports, including Athletics, Wrestling, Handball, Kabaddi, Cricket, Volleyball, Hockey, Football, Weightlifting, Swimming, Basketball, and Boxing.

III. Eligibility Criteria

The criteria are based on three main factors: Educational Qualification, Age Limit, and Sports Achievements.

A. Educational Qualification:

  • For Level-1 Posts (GP ₹1800): Matriculation (10th) OR ITI OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).

  • For Level-2/3 Posts (GP ₹1900/2000): 10+2 (Intermediate) or its equivalent.

  • For Level-4/5 Posts (GP ₹2400/2800): University Degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution.

B. Age Limit (As of 01st January 2026):

  • Minimum Age: 18 years

  • Maximum Age: 25 years

  • Birth Window: Candidates must be born between 02/01/2001 and 01/01/2008 (both inclusive).

  • Note: No age relaxation is permissible for any category.

C. Sports Achievements (Achievements from 01.04.2023 onwards will be considered):

IV. Salary and Benefits

The salary is based on the 7th CPC Pay Matrix and includes various allowances, making it a financially secure career:

  • Basic Pay: Level-1 starts at ₹18,000; Level-5 starts at ₹29,200.

  • Total Salary: Basic Pay + Dearness Allowance (DA) + House Rent Allowance (HRA) + Transport Allowance (TA).

  • Additional Perks: Medical facilities, railway passes for travel, contribution to the National Pension System (NPS), and opportunities for promotion.

V. Selection Process

The selection is based on a two-stage process that evaluates both sports skills and achievements/qualifications.

Stage 1: Sports Trial (40 Marks)

  • Assessment Areas: Game skill, physical fitness, and coach's observations.

  • Qualifying Criteria: A candidate must score a minimum of 25 marks to be declared 'FIT' and proceed to the next stage.

Stage 2: Final Merit Assessment (100 Marks Total)

The final merit list will be prepared based on the score distribution below:

The fee structure includes a partial/full refund for candidates who appear in the trial.
