• SC / ST / PwBD Candidates: A Pass Class degree is sufficient.

• Pay Scale: ₹40,000 – 3% – ₹1,40,000.

1. BEL Probationary Engineer Exam Pattern

The CBT is the first stage of the selection process and carries 85 marks out of a total of 100 in the final merit list (85 marks for CBT + 15 marks for Interview).

• Negative Marking: 1/4th mark (0.25) is deducted for every incorrect answer.

• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 35% for General/OBC/EWS and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD in the CBT.
