The process is two-tiered and merit-based:
Tier 1: Written Examination
Type: Objective-type, pen-and-paper.
Duration: 1 hour.
Questions: 80 questions (1 mark each).
Negative Marking: None.
Syllabus: General Knowledge, Mathematics, General English, and questions related to the relevant trade.
Qualifying Marks: 50% for UR/EWS and 45% for SC/ST.
Tier 2: Document Verification & Trade/Skill Test
Candidates shortlisted from the written exam will undergo Document Verification (original certificates required).
A Trade/Skill Test will be conducted where applicable to assess practical knowledge.
Final Merit List is based solely on the marks obtained in the Written Examination.
