The Technical Entry Scheme (TES) 55 selection process is primarily based on your academic merit and performance in the SSB Interview, not a dedicated written entrance exam.
The most crucial points regarding the "syllabus" and selection are:
The Indian Army TES-55 entry does not have a separate written entrance exam. The selection is a three-step process:
Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted for the SSB Interview based on a combination of their JEE (Main) 2025 score/rank and their aggregate percentage in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in Class 12 (minimum 60% aggregate in PCM is mandatory).
SSB Interview: This is a five-day comprehensive personality, psychological, and aptitude assessment.
Medical Examination: A final medical fitness check.
Although there is no written exam, you must have a strong grasp of the 10+2 PCM syllabus as this knowledge forms the foundation for shortlisting (JEE Mains score) and is essential for the technical education and subsequent training in the Army.

The SSB Interview is a selection system that tests a candidate's potential to become an Army Officer (Officer Like Qualities - OLQs). The SSB syllabus focuses on assessing your personality, intelligence, communication, and general awareness, not academic subjects.
