🧑‍✈️ Eligibility Criteria (Age Limit)

The age limits are calculated as of 01 January 2027:

  • Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years. Candidates must be born between 02 January 2003 and 01 January 2007 (both dates inclusive).

    • Relaxation: Upper age limit is 26 years for candidates holding a valid and current Commercial Pilot License (CPML) issued by DGCA (India).

  • Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years. Candidates must be born between 02 January 2001 and 01 January 2007 (both dates inclusive).


🎓 Educational Qualifications

The required qualifications vary significantly by branch:

1. Flying Branch

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria, in addition to having passed 10+2 level with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics:

  • Graduation (Minimum three years degree course) in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. OR1

  • BE/B.Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. OR2

  • Cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institu3tion of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

2. Ground Duty (Technical) Branch

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 50% mark each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four years degree graduation / integrated post-graduation qualification in Engineering / Technology from a recognized University in the relevant disciplines.

3. Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branches

  • Weapon Systems (WS) Branch:

    • Mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and4

    • Graduation with a minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equi5valent. OR (The image is cut off after this, but likely another technical qualification).

  • Administration & Logistics:

    • Passed 10+2 and a Graduate Degree (Minimum three years degree course) in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. OR

    • Cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

  • Accounts Branch:

    • Passed 10+2 and done graduation in any of the following streams with 60% marks or equivalent:

      • B. Com Degree (Min three years course).

      • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) / Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) / Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) (all with specialization in Finance).

      • Qualified CA/CMA/CS/CFA.

      • B.Sc. with specialization in Finance.

  • Education:

    • Passed 10+2 and Post-Graduation with 50% marks in any discipline (including integrated courses offering PG) and with 60% marks in Graduation in any discipline.

  • Meteorology:

    • Passed 10+2 and B Sc with Physics and Mathematics with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent OR four-year Graduation in Engineering / Technology discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent in the Relevant streams.


📝 Application Fee

  • For AFCAT entry: Rs. 550/- + GST.

  • For NCC Special Entry: Nil (No application fee).

  • Payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
