The IB MTS position is highly lucrative due to a substantial pay scale and special allowances:
Pay Scale: Level-1 (₹18,000 to ₹56,900) as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).
Basic Pay: Initial Basic Pay starts at ₹18,000.
Special Security Allowance (SSA): A key unique benefit of 20% of the Basic Pay is provided to IB personnel.
