The Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) Operator Recruitment 2025 is an opportunity for skilled heavy vehicle/crane operators to join a Miniratna company on a contract basis for a maximum of five years.

The following minimum requirements must be met as of 21 November 2025:
Educational Qualification: A minimum of Pass in VII Standard (7th Class).
Driving Licence: Must possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence. Additionally, for the Forklift/AWP post, a valid Forklift Driving Licence is required.
Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in the operation of the respective equipment (Forklift/Aerial Work Platform or Diesel Cranes) after passing the required qualification.
Age Limit: The upper age limit is 45 years.
Relaxations: 3 years for OBC (NCL) and 5 years for SC candidates (for reserved posts). The upper age limit is 60 years for Ex-servicemen & Retired CAPF Personnel.
Note: Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates are not eligible due to the nature of the job.

The entire selection hinges on two stages:
Certificate Verification: Candidates must present all original documents (age proof, educational certificate, driving licence, experience certificates, and caste certificate, if applicable). Only those who successfully clear this stage will be permitted to proceed.
Practical Test (100 Marks): This is the main evaluation stage, designed to test the candidate's operational skills. The rank list will be prepared based on the marks secured in this test.
