Essential Qualifications by Post

1. Secretary (Category No: 21/2025)

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Degree with HDC&BM and seven years of experience as Accountant or above in a Cooperative Bank. OR

  • B.Sc (Co-operation & Banking) from Agricultural University with five years of experience as Accountant or above in a Co-operative Bank. OR

  • Masters Degree in Business Administration or M.Com with Finance as the main subject or Membership in Chartered accountants of India with three years of experience in the Banking Sector and having co-operative qualifications. OR

  • B.Com (Co-operation) with seven years of experience as Accountant or above in a Cooperative Bank.

2. Assistant Secretary/ Chief Accountant (Category No: 22/2025)

Candidates must possess a Degree from a recognized university with not less than 50% marks in all subjects, AND one of the following cooperative qualifications:

  • Higher Diploma in Cooperatives (Kerala State Cooperative Union HDC or HDC & BM or National Council for Cooperative Training - one year regular course) HDC or HDCM. OR

  • Successfully completed Subordinate Personnel Cooperative Training Course (Junior Diploma in Cooperatives) or B.Sc/M.Sc (Cooperatives & Banking) from Kerala Agricultural University or B.Com degree with not less than 50% marks in all subjects where co-operation is optional.

3. Junior Clerk (Category No: 23-30/2025)

The basic qualification is SSLC or equivalent and Subordinate Personnel Cooperative Training Course (Junior Diploma in Co-operation).

  • Alternative/Additional Qualifications: A B.Com degree with Co-operative as an optional subject, or a degree from any recognized university with Higher Diploma in Cooperatives (HDC, HDC & BM, or National Council's one-year regular course HDC or HDCM), or B.Sc (Cooperatives & Banking) from Kerala Agricultural University can also apply.

  • For Kasaragod District: Co-operative Diploma Course (GDC) conducted by Karnataka State Co-operative Federation and Junior Diploma in Co-operation (JDC) conducted by Kerala State Co-operative Union are considered equivalent.

4. System Administrator (Category No: 31/2025)

  • MCA/B.Tech. (Computer Science or Electronic Communication or Information Technology).

  • Experience: Minimum working experience of 3 years as System Administrator or equivalent is desirable.

5. Data Entry Operator (Category No: 32/2025)

  • Degree from a recognized university.

  • Certificate of passing a data entry course from an institution recognized by the Kerala/Central Government.

  • One year of experience working as a Data Entry Operator in a recognized organization.

6. Typist (Category No: 33/2025)

  • SSLC or Equivalent.

  • KGTE English & Malayalam Typewriting (Lower).


Application Fee and Selection Process

Application Fee

The fee must be paid through Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking. The fee structure is as follows:

  • General Category: Rs. 150 for one bank and Rs. 50 for each additional bank.

  • SC/ST: Rs. 50 for one bank and Rs. 50 for each additional bank.

Selection Process

The selection process involves three main stages:

  1. OMR Based/Written Exam

  2. Personal Interview

  3. Document Verification

Age Relaxation

Age relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates, extending the upper age limit of 40 years:

  • SC/ST: Up to 45 years.

  • OBC/Soldiers/EWS: Up to 43 years.

  • Differently Abled Person: Up to 50 years.

  • Widows: Up to 45 years.
