1. Ukraine Marks Independence Day Amidst War: Ukraine observed the 34th anniversary of its independence from the Soviet Union. U.S. President Trump Expands Crackdown on Crime: U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly considering deploying military forces to additional cities to combat crime, following a previous deployment of National Guard members to Washington, D.C. This move is part of his administration's wider crackdown on crime, homelessness, and undocumented immigration.
