1. NDA Announces Vice-Presidential Candidate: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) announced C.P. Radhakrishnan, the Governor of Maharashtra, as its candidate for the Vice-Presidential election. Radhakrishnan is a veteran politician from Tamil Nadu and a two-time Member of Parliament.
