III. Eligibility Criteria (Educational Qualification)

Technician ‘B’/Draughtsman ‘B’	SSLC/SSC Pass + ITI/NTC/NAC in the relevant trade from NCVT.
Cook	SSLC/SSC Pass with 5 years of experience in a well-established Hotel/Canteen.
Fireman ‘A’ / LVD ‘A’	SSLC/SSC Pass with relevant physical fitness standards or a valid LVD license and experience.

VI. Selection Process

The selection process is multi-tiered and varies by post:

Tier 1: Written Test
- Scientist/Engineer: Includes discipline-specific questions, aptitude/ability tests, and potentially descriptive questions. Subject to negative marking.
- Technical & Other Posts: Consists of 80 multiple-choice questions to be answered in 1.5 hours, with negative marking.
Tier 2: Skill Test / Interview
- Scientist/Engineer: Candidates are called for an Interview. Final selection is based on weightage for Written Test marks and weightage for Interview marks.
- Technical Assistant, Technician, etc.: Shortlisted candidates undergo a Skill Test which is purely qualifying in nature ('go-no-go' basis). Final selection is based solely on the marks scored in the Written Test.
- Driver/Fireman: Involves a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and/or a Driving Test in addition to the written exam.
