Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
| Apprentice Category | Required Qualification |
| Trade Apprentices | 10th Pass + NTC Certificate in the respective trade from an NCVT-recognized institute. |
| Associate Legal Assistant | 10th Pass + LLB Degree from a UGC-approved university. |
| Fresher Apprentices (Medical Trades) | 12th Pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) from a recognized board. |
| Fresher Apprentices (Other Trades) | 10th Pass from a recognized board. |
| Technician Apprentices | Diploma in the relevant engineering branch. Must have graduated in or after 2021. |
| Graduate Apprentices | Graduate Degree (B.E./B.Tech, B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Sc. Nursing) in the relevant field. Must have graduated in or after 2021. |
Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025)
Trade Apprentice: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years.
Fresher Apprentice: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 22 years.
Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates, as per government rules.
Experience: No prior experience is required.
Stipend Details (Per Month)
The monthly stipend varies based on the level of qualification:
Graduate Apprentices & Associate Legal Assistant: ₹9,000
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: ₹8,000
Trade (ITI) Apprentices: ₹7,000
Fresher Apprentices (12th Pass): ₹7,000 for the 1st year and ₹7,700 for the 2nd year.
Fresher Apprentices (10th Pass): ₹6,000 for the 1st year and ₹6,600 for the 2nd year.
Selection and Application Procedure
Selection Process
Selection Method: Merit-Based Selection only, based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations (ITI, Diploma, Degree, etc.).
Preference Order:
First Preference: Project Affected People (PAP) and wards of CCL employees.
Second Preference: Candidates who completed their qualifications from institutes located in Jharkhand.
Subsequent Consideration: Candidates from other states will be considered if seats remain vacant.
Final Step: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification to confirm eligibility.

Graduate/Diploma Apprentices: Register on the NATS portal.
Trade/Fresher Apprentices (ITI/10th/12th): Register on the NAPS portal.
Profile Completion: Log in and complete the profile to 100% accuracy, including e-KYC (Aadhar Verification, Bank Details).
